Nike sues Stockx for counterfeit products

StockX is firing back at Nike after being accused of selling fake shoes in a recent lawsuit ... calling the big brand's claims completely "baseless."
A company executive claimed to have purchased four pairs of "genuine" Nike shoes from the StockX store, but after identification, they were actually fakes. "These four pairs of fake shoes were all purchased on the StockX platform within just two months. They all have StockX's 'Verified Authentic' hangtags. The shoe boxes also come with a paper receipt from StockX explaining the condition of the shoes. '100% Authentic,'" Nike said in the filing.
Nike also said in the new filing that StockX "deliberately deceived consumers" and damaged its brand reputation by using counterfeit shoes to pass off Nike products.
StockX didn't take the accusations kindly and fired back on Wednesday... calling Nike's claims false and bizarre... as they accuse Nike executives of buying and/or selling sneakers on its site.
